The Reids are restoration professionals with a lifetime of aviation and restoration experience.

Recently they breathed life back into a 1936 Avro Anson Mark 1 bomber, which is the only flying example in the world. It is an RAF monoplane with a retractable undercarriage used in WWII by allied air forces for training.

The Reids’ acquired the plane from the Australian Airworld Museum in Northern Victoria and during the restoration each part was thoroughly researched to make sure it was authentic. The restored Avro Anson made its maiden flight on 18 July 2012 and will be shown at air shows.
