The Reids are restoration professionals with a lifetime of aviation and restoration experience.

Recently they breathed life back into a 1936 Avro Anson Mark 1 bomber, which is the only flying example in the world. It is an RAF monoplane with a restractable undercarriage used in WWII by allied air forces for training.

The Reids’ acquired the plane from the Australian Airworld Museum in Northern Victoria and during the restoration, each part was thoroughly researched to make sure it was authentic.

The company operates the World's sole remaining Avro Anson MK 1 Coastal Reconnaissance Bomber on adventure flights providing World War 2 aircrew experience flights from Omaka airfield and at selected air shows around the country. It is operated in conjunction with NZ Warbirds inc Under NZ CAA Part 115 Adventure Aviation rules.
